Theme: Holy Spirit
“And he had received an answer from the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death before he had seen the Christ of the Lord.”
Reflection for Today
The Church sets before us Luke 2:26: “And he had received an answer from the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death before he had seen the Christ of the Lord.”
Luke does not give us a distant memory of Jesus. It places us in His company, where every word can become prayer. Read in Catholic faith, this is not a decorative sentence for social media. It is a living word meant to convert, console, and send us back into ordinary life with a quieter heart.
Today's invitation under the theme of Holy Spirit is simple and serious. Write one sentence of response in a notebook or phone note: what you hear God asking, promising, or healing. Then do one small act that matches that sentence.
Prayer
Lord God, thank You for speaking through Luke 2:26. You said, “And he had received an answer from the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death…” I do not want to rush past these words. Quiet my mind, warm my heart, and help me live what I have heard with faith, hope, and charity. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
