Theme: Daily Scripture
“And the remnant of the sacrifice shall be Aaron's, and his sons', holy of holies of the offerings of the Lord.”
Reflection for Today
The Church sets before us Leviticus 2:3: “And the remnant of the sacrifice shall be Aaron's, and his sons', holy of holies of the offerings of the Lord.”
Leviticus is part of the long story of salvation. Catholics receive it as inspired Scripture, a word that prepares the heart for Christ and still nourishes the Church. Read in Catholic faith, this is not a decorative sentence for social media. It is a living word meant to convert, console, and send us back into ordinary life with a quieter heart.
Today's invitation under the theme of Daily Scripture is simple and serious. Share this verse with someone who needs encouragement, not as advice from above, but as a gift you yourself are trying to live.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, Word made flesh, You still teach Your disciples through Sacred Scripture. Through Leviticus 2:3, let “And the remnant of the sacrifice shall be Aaron's, and his sons', holy of holies of…” become more than a memory. Make it light for my work, patience for my home, and courage for my vocation. Amen.
