Theme: Daily Scripture
“With him that feareth the Lord, it shall go well in the latter end, and in the day of his death he shall be blessed.”
Reflection for Today
Pause with Sirach 1:13. Hear these words again: “With him that feareth the Lord, it shall go well in the latter end, and in the day of his death he shall be blessed.”
Sirach belongs to the wisdom books, where faith meets daily decisions. Holiness is not only for extraordinary moments; it is learned in ordinary choices. Many of us carry quiet fear into work, family, and prayer. This verse does not shame that fear. It invites us to bring it into the light of God.
Today's invitation under the theme of Daily Scripture is simple and serious. If possible, bring this line to Mass or to a brief visit before the Blessed Sacrament. Let Christ finish in silence what the verse began in your thoughts.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, Word made flesh, You still teach Your disciples through Sacred Scripture. Through Sirach 1:13, let “With him that feareth the Lord, it shall go well in the latter end, and in the day…” become more than a memory. Make it light for my work, patience for my home, and courage for my vocation. Amen.
