Prayer for Day 5
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Dear Lord, we thank You for the many freedoms we are blessed with in America. We ask You to bless our country, and particularly to bring about good for our country through the Supreme Court.
The people who have served as justices on the Supreme Court have frequently professed the Christian Faith, and even the Catholic Faith. But many who profess to be Your followers have failed to do all they can to bring about true justice or adherence to Your laws.
Please bless and assist all members of the Supreme Court, and we particularly ask You today to help all professed Catholic and Christian Supreme Court justices to grow to a deeper dedication to You! Help them to serve You faithfully and to make decisions that reflect Your divine law.
Help us to make growth in our relationship with You our top priority in life. Help us to serve You well in every circumstance of our lives.
