Prayer for Day 6
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
O St. Thérèse of the Child Jesus, who during your short life on earth became a mirror of angelic purity, of love strong as death, and of wholehearted abandonment to God, now that you rejoice in the reward of your virtues, cast down upon me a glance of pity.
You are now in the possession of everlasting joy, and you have become the friend of the Spouse of the Canticles. You have reached the goal, you have obtained the crown, and your hands are filled with the roses of your virtues. You have, according to your words, become the plaything of Jesus. You are now the delight of the Holy Trinity, and you are the daughter of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
I, who am still in the midst of the dangers of the world, turn to you, O my little Saint, and I beg you to protect me, so that every day of my life I may say: "Now I have begun to be a disciple of Jesus Christ." Amen.
Reflection for Today
Today we pray for hidden life. St. Thérèse teaches us that holiness is found not in great deeds, but in the small, everyday acts of love and trust. As we pray today, let us ask for the grace to embrace this spiritual approach in our own lives.
