Novena for Someone in a Coma – Day 7: Family Support

Join in praying the Novena for Someone in a Coma to seek healing and recovery for those who are unconscious.

Today's Focus: Family Support

On this seventh day of the Novena for Someone in a Coma, we pray for those who are in medically induced comas for treatment. We ask God to bring peace and healing to those who are unconscious due to medical procedures.

Prayer for Day 7

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Amen.

Dear Lord, we thank You and praise You for the gift of health. We humbly ask You today to restore to health all who are in comas, if it be Your will.

Dealing with a loved one in a coma can be a very difficult trial. But people in comas are in need of love and support. You can give the loved ones of coma patients the strength they need to persevere in love and support.

Please help all people who are in comas, and we particularly ask today that You help all family members and friends of coma patients.

Help us to grow in true love of You in every circumstance we face. Give us the grace to strive to grow in holiness each day of our lives, even in the midst of suffering.

And we especially ask in this novena for (mention your intentions here).

Lord, hear our prayers!

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Amen.

Reflection for Today

Today we pray for family members and friends of coma patients. Having a loved one in a coma is one of the most difficult trials a family can face. The uncertainty, the waiting, the helplessness can be overwhelming.

Family members and friends must provide constant support and love, even when they receive no response from their loved one. They must maintain hope, provide care, and make difficult medical decisions. This requires tremendous strength and faith.

In these situations, we must remember that God gives special graces to those who care for the sick. He provides the strength, patience, and love needed to persevere. He never abandons those who are suffering.

As we pray today, let us ask God to give family members and friends the grace they need to love and support their loved ones in comas. Let us remember that love is the most powerful force in the universe.

Remember that God never abandons us, even in the most difficult circumstances. He is always present, always loving, and always working for our good.
