On this final day of our novena, we offer complete consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. We thank Him for all the graces He has given us and we commit ourselves to live under His guidance. This is a day of thanksgiving, commitment, and preparation for the ongoing work of the Sacred Heart in our lives.
Prayer for Day 9
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Opening Prayer:
O most holy Heart of Jesus, fountain of every blessing, I adore You, I love You, and with a lively sorrow for my sins, I offer You this poor heart of mine. Make me humble, patient, pure, and wholly obedient to Your will. Grant, good Jesus, that I may live in You and for You. Protect me in the midst of danger; comfort me in my afflictions; give me health of body, assistance in my temporal needs, Your blessing on all that I do, and the grace of a holy death.
Prayer of Complete Consecration:
O Sacred Heart of Jesus, today, on this final day of our novena, I consecrate myself completely to You. I give You my heart, my soul, my mind, my strength, and all that I am and have. Take possession of my entire being and make me wholly Yours.
I consecrate to You my thoughts, my words, my actions, and all the moments of my life. I consecrate to You my joys and sorrows, my hopes and fears, my successes and failures. Everything I am and everything I have, I place in Your Sacred Heart.
I promise to love You with all my heart, to serve You with all my strength, and to honor You with all my being. Help me to be faithful to this consecration and to live always in Your love. May my life be a reflection of Your love and may I bring others closer to Your Sacred Heart.
I thank You for these nine days of prayer and for all the graces You have given me. Thank You for Your infinite love and mercy, for Your constant presence in my life, and for Your guidance and protection.

Reflection for Today
Complete consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus is not a one-time act, but a daily commitment. It means allowing Jesus to guide every aspect of our lives – our thoughts, our words, our actions, and our decisions. It means trusting that He knows what is best for us and that He will lead us to holiness.
As we complete this novena, we should reflect on how the Sacred Heart has been working in our lives during these nine days. Have we grown in love and devotion? Have we become more aware of His presence and guidance? Have we experienced His love and mercy in new ways?
