God, thank You for giving us Mary as our mother and example of perfect love and faith.
Our Lady of Mount Carmel, help those who misunderstand your role. You always lead us closer to Christ, never away from Him. Your human experience makes you relatable, a true mother who understands our struggles.

Today we pray for Mary's guidance to lead us closer to Christ and to help those who misunderstand her role. Mary is our mother and guide, always pointing us toward her Son.
Some people misunderstand Mary's role in our spiritual life. They think that devotion to Mary takes away from our relationship with Jesus. But this is not true. Mary always leads us closer to Christ, never away from Him. She is like a mother who takes her children by the hand and leads them to Jesus.
Mary's human experience makes her relatable to us. She knows what it means to struggle, to suffer, to have faith tested. She understands our human condition because she lived it. This makes her a true mother who can comfort us and guide us with understanding and love.
