Today's Focus: Gratitude

As we near the end of this novena, we pause to count our blessings. God has been faithful in the past — providing a home, a community, and countless graces. Gratitude opens our hearts to receive more of what God wants to give us in the new season ahead.

Prayer for Day 8

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Prayer of Gratitude:
Heavenly Father, I thank You for every blessing You have given me in the place I am leaving. For the home that sheltered me, the neighbors who became friends, the parish that nourished my faith, the memories made within these walls — I am grateful. Thank You for Your faithfulness in every season. I trust that Your goodness will follow me to my new home as it has followed me here.

Closing Prayer:
Lord, make me a person of gratitude. Help me to see Your hand in every detail of this move — even the difficult ones. Thank You for going before me, walking beside me, and never leaving me. Amen.

Reflection for Today

The ten lepers were healed, but only one returned to give thanks (Luke 17:11-19). Jesus noticed. Gratitude is not just good manners — it is a spiritual discipline that keeps our hearts open to God's continued blessing.

Today, write down ten specific things you are grateful for from your time in your current home. Then write down ten things you are hopeful for in your new home. Let gratitude and hope fill your heart.
