Prayer for Day 1
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Dear Lord, we thank You for giving us Your servant, Mother Angelica, as an example of holiness. Help us to imitate the devotion to You she grew in throughout her life.
Mother Angelica, you did not have the benefit of a stable and loving family life. But despite the sufferings you endured as the result of your unstable family life, you began on the path to holiness and serving God.
You overcame a lot of suffering and obstacles in your early life. You eventually chose to dedicate your life to God by becoming a nun in the Poor Clare order.
Pray for me, that I may never allow hardships or obstacles to deter me from serving God. Pray that I may grow in love for God each day.
