Reflection for Today

Today we pray for the Hope that saves as we continue our Christmas Novena. The birth of Jesus Christ to the Virgin Mary brought a hope to the world that continues to sustain us even today.

This hope is not just a wish or a desire, but a confident expectation based on God's promises. Through the incarnation of Jesus Christ, we have been given the hope of salvation and eternal life. This hope sustains us in difficult times and gives us the strength to persevere.

As we pray today, let us reflect on the hope that Jesus Christ brings to our lives. Let us ask God to give us a saving hope - a hope that is rooted in faith and that leads us to eternal life. Let us remember that this hope is not just for this life, but for the life to come.

Remember that hope is one of the three theological virtues, along with faith and love. It is a gift from God that helps us to trust in His promises and to look forward with confidence to the fulfillment of His plan for our salvation.
