Novena for Addiction Recovery – Day 3: Harmful Activities
Continue praying the Novena for Addiction Recovery to seek God's mercy and strength for recovery from addiction.
Today's Focus: Harmful Activities
On this third day, we pray for those who are addicted to harmful activities and behaviors.
Prayer for Day 3
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Dear Lord, we thank You and praise You for Your never-ending mercy and love. We come before You to implore Your assistance in recovery from addiction.
You desire all people to be united to You and to live holy lives. All of us fall short of this at times and commit sins against You. Many people become addicted to certain sins or to other activities that are harmful to them. We ask that You be with us and with all who are struggling to recover from an addiction to a harmful activity.
Please pour Your merciful assistance on all who struggle with addiction, particularly on those who are addicted to harmful activities!
Help us to turn to You as our loving Father every time we fall. Help us to trust in Your mercy and assistance in every struggle we face in our lives.
I especially ask in this novena (mention your intentions here).
Lord, have mercy on us, now and always!
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
