Easter Season Joy

by Catholic Bible Online

The Easter Season is the most joyful time in the Church's calendar—fifty days of celebrating Christ's victory over sin and death. These reflections help you enter into the joy of the Resurrection and live as Easter people.

He Is Risen!

"He is not here, for he has risen, as he said." (Matthew 28:6)

The stone is rolled away. The tomb is empty. Christ is risen! This is the central truth of our faith, the foundation of everything we believe.

If Christ has not been raised, Paul says, our faith is in vain. But He has been raised, and because He lives, we too shall live.

The Resurrection changes everything. Death is not the end. Sin does not have the final word. The grave could not hold Him, and it will not hold us.

St. Augustine exclaimed: "We are an Easter people, and Alleluia is our song!"

Let the joy of Easter fill your heart today. Christ is risen! He is truly risen!

📖 Scripture

Matthew 28:5-6 - "Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here, for he has risen, as he said."

🙏 Prayer

Lord Jesus, You have conquered death and risen in glory! Fill me with Easter joy. Help me to live as one who believes in the Resurrection. Alleluia! Amen.
