Let 2 Chronicles 30:19 speak first, before our plans and worries do: “To all them, who with their whole heart, seek the Lord the God of their fathers: and will not impute it to them that they are not sanctified.”
2 Chronicles is part of the long story of salvation. Catholics receive it as inspired Scripture, a word that prepares the heart for Christ and still nourishes the Church. A single verse can meet us differently depending on the season we are in: grief, gratitude, fatigue, or new beginnings.
Today's invitation under the theme of Family is simple and serious. If the verse consoles you, do not rush past the comfort. Gratitude is also a form of obedience.

Lord God, thank You for speaking through 2 Chronicles 30:19. You said, “To all them, who with their whole heart, seek the Lord the God of their fathers: and…” I do not want to rush past these words. Quiet my mind, warm my heart, and help me live what I have heard with faith, hope, and charity. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
