The Church sets before us Proverbs 29:13: “The poor man and the creditor have met one another: the Lord is the enlightener of them both.”

Read in Catholic faith, this is not a decorative sentence for social media. It is a living word meant to convert, console, and send us back into ordinary life with a quieter heart.

Prayer
Come, Holy Spirit. Open the Scriptures to me as You opened them to the apostles. In Proverbs 29:13 I hear, “The poor man and the creditor have met one another: the Lord is the enlightener of…” Give me understanding, give me desire, and give me the grace to obey with joy. Amen.
