The Church sets before us Job 27:13: “This is the portion of a wicked man with God, and the inheritance of the violent, which they shall receive of the Almighty.”
Job belongs to the wisdom books, where faith meets daily decisions. Holiness is not only for extraordinary moments; it is learned in ordinary choices. Read in Catholic faith, this is not a decorative sentence for social media. It is a living word meant to convert, console, and send us back into ordinary life with a quieter heart.
Today's invitation under the theme of Strength is simple and serious. Write one sentence of response in a notebook or phone note: what you hear God asking, promising, or healing. Then do one small act that matches that sentence.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, Word made flesh, You still teach Your disciples through Sacred Scripture. Through Job 27:13, let “This is the portion of a wicked man with God, and the inheritance of the violent,…” become more than a memory. Make it light for my work, patience for my home, and courage for my vocation. Amen.
