Reflection for Today
The Church sets before us 1 Kings 13:12: “And their father said to them: What way went he? His sons shewed him the way by which the man of God went, who came out of Juda.”
A single verse can meet us differently depending on the season we are in: grief, gratitude, fatigue, or new beginnings. 1 Kings is part of the long story of salvation. Catholics receive it as inspired Scripture, a word that prepares the heart for Christ and still nourishes the Church.

Prayer
