Theme: Strength

StrengthPrayer

And many peoples, and strong nations shall come to seek the Lord of hosts in Jerusalem, and to entreat the face of the Lord.

Zechariah 8:22

Reflection for Today

Pause with Zechariah 8:22. Hear these words again: “And many peoples, and strong nations shall come to seek the Lord of hosts in Jerusalem, and to entreat the face of the Lord.”

In Zechariah, the prophetic word unsettles comfort and awakens hope. God loves His people enough to call them back, and enough to promise a future. Read in Catholic faith, this is not a decorative sentence for social media. It is a living word meant to convert, console, and send us back into ordinary life with a quieter heart.

Today's invitation under the theme of Strength is simple and serious. Pray a decade of the Rosary with this verse in mind. Ask Mary to teach you how to keep God's word and ponder it, as she did.

Prayer

Holy Trinity, I receive today's verse with the Church. Keep Zechariah 8:22 close to me. Let “And many peoples, and strong nations shall come to seek the Lord of hosts in…” guard my thoughts from morning until night, and let my life quietly agree with Your word. Amen.
