If this verse speaks of love, it invites a question that is quietly demanding: whom am I being asked to love more concretely today? Proverbs belongs to the wisdom books, where faith meets daily decisions. Holiness is not only for extraordinary moments; it is learned in ordinary choices.
God often changes us less by thunder and more by a line of Scripture that will not leave us alone. If the verse convicts you, do not panic. Take it to Confession when you can, or begin with an honest Act of Contrition tonight.

Lord Jesus, Word made flesh, You still teach Your disciples through Sacred Scripture.
