Old Testament • 5 Verses
1A psalm of praise.
2Sing joyfully to God, all the earth: serve ye the Lord with gladness. Come in before his presence with exceeding great joy.
3Know ye that the Lord he is God: he made us, and not we ourselves. We are his people and the sheep of his pasture.
4Go ye into his gates with praise, into his courts with hymns: and give glory to him. Praise ye his name:
5For the Lord is sweet, his mercy endureth for ever, and his truth to generation and generation.
In Psalms Chapter 99, we encounter God's truth and wisdom for our lives. This chapter, like all of Scripture, is inspired by God and useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness. As you read these verses, ask God to open your heart to receive His message and to give you the wisdom to apply these truths to your daily life. Remember that God's Word never returns void—it always accomplishes the purpose for which He sends it. Let these words work in your heart and transform your mind.
